On the Road Again

Mission Accomplished
As I mentioned earlier, I have been on a mission for a while to find a decent pair of casual shoes I can wear outside of work.  Lately, I have been wearing my work shoes everywhere, causing more wear on them then they really need.  So it was a relief to find that the outlet mall in Allen had a Merrell store.  I had purchased a pair of Merrills when I went to Europe back in 06 and they lasted for quite a while in addition to being comfortable.  I chose a pair that closely resembled my first pair and as I slipped them on my feet, I knew I had found a pair of shoes that I would be happy with.

Leaving the Merrell store, I proceeded to my other outlet store of choice, Hagar.  They are always having some sort of sales on sport coats and suits, and I like they way they fit.  30 minutes and $250 later, I had two new suits, 2 shirts, 2 ties and a few pair of socks.  Not bad if you consider a sport coat alone costs $200 at most normal stores.

Before we left the mall to head out to IKEA, we stopped by the Carters outlet and picked Chloe up some clothes to grow into this spring.  So all in all, the outlet mall experience was a success and we really didn’t spend a lot of money.
