A great week…and now it’s even better!
Wow…and here I thought this week was going to be the pits. You know, the week before a 3 day weekend and how it stretches on and on and on and on. 20 Must Have Android Apps! (vol 1)
Are you new to Android and want to know which apps you should actually install on your device? Look no further as I have compiled a list of what I believe are the best apps in their respective fields. I have installed and used every one of these apps and I must say that they make my life tremendously easier. Please note that this list is biased towards the apps I use in my life. Sales
As everyone has by now heard, Android sales have surpassed those of its rivals, Apple and Research in Motion (RIM Blackberry). What you probably have not heard is that this statement is only partially true. Yes, Android now enjoys a 31.2% market share compared to RIM’s 30.4 and Apple’s 24.7%.
What these figures don’t say is that these numbers are for the Operating System (Android) only. The handsets themselves are still ruled by RIM and Apple…mainly due to their lack of openness (they don’t allow their OS to be placed on other devices). However, what these companies lack in openness, they more than gain in consistency and ease of use in transition to the next version of the device…something that Android is still having growing pains with.

But should you buy a Xoom now? Or an iPad 2? In a nutshell: wait.
